Fatality In Mt Isa

At 6pm last night on the Barkly Highway a car of four left the tarmac and rolled a number of times. The car of four had been traveling south along the Barkly Highway ~65kms north of Mt Isa. The front passenger a 67 year old women was killed, while the 37 year old driver and the two young passengers aged, 11 and 4 survived but sustained serious injuries. Police are currently investigating the cause of the crash.

Police are urging people to use extra caution on the roads during the holiday season for due reason. Where I live here in Mooloolaba traffic this season is incredible and no doubt many other places are in the same boat. Its all to easy to let your mind slip when theres just so much to think about at christmas time and its this reason alone we need to ensure we all do our best to stay focused and be as curtious as possible to other drivers.

I Really Wish The Japanese Whalers Would Just Fuck Off Already

On December 20, 2008 the Sea Shepherd Conservation Society ship, recently dubbed the “Steve Irwin” launched an attack with the intent on using stink bombs on a Japanese whaling ship the Yushin Maru 2, found in Australia’s self-declared Antarctic economic exclusion zone. The attack was not completed due to rising winds making it extremely difficult to reach the whaling ship in a Delta Boat.

The season for whaling begun not to long ago for the Japanese and it seems they really have a tuff enemy this time round with the Sea Shepherd Conservation Society doing there best to stop the Japanese Whale research bs.
